Before you return your furniture please note:
We are happy to refund most items within 14 days of receipt, but a collection charge will apply.
To return your furniture item(s) please phone or email one of our sales team within 14 days of receipt of goods. Goods must be packaged back in the original packaging. If you select our Room of Choice Delivery (White Glove) and you are unsure of any items, you must ask the Delivery Team to leave the packaging with you upon delivery. Failure to retain packaging, will affect your ability to return any items.
Refunds will only be processed once the goods have been collected and received back into our warehouse and QC'd. Please allow upto 21 working days for the refund to be processed.
Furniture purchased under a distance contract (online or by phone) can be returned in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Contracts (information Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCRs). Except for the items of furniture listed below in the Exclusions section, you can cancel your purchase and return the item if you inform us within 14 days from the date of delivery of goods.
Unless you are returning the goods in person you will be responsible for the cost of returning the items. We do offer a collection service under which a charge will be made for the cost of collection. This will be between £29 - £99 depending on the location, size and value of the item. Goods returned that are in excess of £1400 will incur an additional 10% restocking fee.
If we have provided a bulk-buy discount when you placed your order, we’ll have provided this based on you spending a certain amount with us. If you subsequently return or cancel any part of the discounted order, this will lower your spend with us and therefore may make you ineligible for the discount. We reserve the right to remove the whole discount provided on your full order from the refund you are due. Please contact us to discuss this if you wish to return part of a discounted order.
Please ensure that your chosen items of Furniture will fit in your room and that you have checked the access route. If your item is going above ground floor, please check that this will fit up the staircase and that you have no tight turns or low ceiling points before placing an order. Upon delivery, should the items not fit for any reasons, there will be a return fee and a 10% restocking fee deducted from the final refund. If you are unsure a site visit can be arranged at a cost of between £30 - £50. Cancelling stored orders that include items from our outlet. Once an order has been placed and in the case of Clearance, Nicky Cornell Ltd have removed the items off of sale from the website if you then decide to cancel (after 14 Days) any of the items there will be a restocking fee of 20% of the cost of that item added to the final settlement price before delivery.
As soon as the item(s) arrive, please check them thoroughly. It's rare, but items can sometimes be damaged on their way to you. Please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your item of any damage so that we can collect and replace the item(s) quickly for you,
For items where unwrapping and assembly was not carried out in your home by our own delivery team please ensure the returned goods are placed in their original packaging. If you select our Room of Choice Delivery (White Glove) and you are unsure of any items, you must ask the Driver to leave the packaging with you upon delivery. Failure to retain packaging, will affect your ability to return any items.
Until the collection has taken place or the item has been returned to us, you will be required to keep the item in the same condition as it was in when delivered to you (unless we have agreed general usage until an alternative arrives from us) We reserve the right to consider the condition of any item you return to us and make deductions to the refund paid to you on account of any use of the item or any damage to the product.
Collections can take up to 21 working days to be booked in to the collection/delivery network. Alternatively customers can return goods in person or arrange a Courier to return at your own cost (you will need to ensure their safe return back to us)
We do not accept returns on Mirrored Glass furniture or Mirrors (where our glass disclaimer will have been signed) if the items have gained any cracks or chips whilst in your possession and is therefore not in the condition it was when delivered.
We do not accept returns on Mattresses that have been removed from their original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All items in clearance, seconds and or ex-display are sold as seen and are non returnable.
Returns will not be accepted on Trade/Business to business orders.
