At Nicky Cornell we have 3 options for delivery. Our deliveries made by our own team are made Tuesday-Friday at reasonable times.
We offer a free of charge collection service which will (in most cases) half your delivery lead time. You will be collecting from our warehouse and showroom in Hertfordshire.
*all collections must be arranged prior, driving license/passport will be required if the order has been pre paid.
We will deliver your goods to just inside your front door and on ground floor only, no packaging will be taken away. This service is only recommended for smaller items.
Orders under £100.00 qualify for free standard delivery.
Items will be taken to your room of choice, assembled by our professional delivery team and all packaging will be taken away and disposed of. Please ensure you check access with our sales team prior to delivery and notify them of any tight turns, low ceilings, parking restrictions etc which may affect your delivery.
It is down to the customer to ensure the property has adequate access and the goods will fit and if not you will incur a restocking fee. Nicky Cornell do not install any electrical items or hang any mirrors.
From time to time, we may use an external courier to get your goods delivered to you faster. This includes a wooden pallet service however we will notify you beforehand if this is the case.
All deliveries made to these locations are quoted on an individual basis, please contact our sales team for further information. Due to Brexit there are a limited number of delivery companies available. Unfortunately we cannot arrange any returns from outside the UK, this will be down to the customer.
We understand that you may wish to return your order. If this is the case please notify our sales team within 14 days of delivery and keep all packaging. We will either arrange a collection or you are able to do this yourself.
*Please note that for larger items you may incur a restocking fee Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on any clearance items, mattresses or items that have been bespokely altered for you. Trade orders are unable to be returned/cancelled. *Please be aware that if you have signed the damage disclaimer we are unable to accept your return
If delivery fails
Once you have confirmed your delivery slot & our Drivers arrive to find that no one is at the property, there will be a £60 aborted delivery and a re delivery fee payable
Failed deliveries unfortunately come with a cost. With route planning, vehicle space allocation, drivers road time, there are costs which we cannot claw back. If you need to make changes to your delivery date, please give us plenty of notice so we can avoid lost fees. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or re-schedule a delivery to avoid incurring extra fees.
Please ensure that your chosen items of Furniture will fit in your room and that you have checked the access route. If your item is going above ground floor, please check that this will fit up the staircase and that you have no tight turns or low ceiling points before placing an order. Upon delivery, should the items not fit for any reasons, there will be a return fee and a 10% restocking fee deducted from the final refund. If you are unsure a site visit can be arranged at a cost of between £30 - £50. Cancelling stored orders that include items from our outlet.
Once an order has been placed and in the case of Clearance, Nicky Cornell Ltd have removed the items off of sale from the website if you then decide to cancel (after 14 Days) any of the items there will be a restocking fee of 20% of the cost of that item added to the final settlement price before delivery.
As soon as the item(s) arrive, please check them thoroughly. It's rare, but items can sometimes be damaged on their way to you. Please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your item of any damage so that we can collect and replace the item(s) quickly for you.
We provide storage for upto 4 months FOC. However, after this time there will be a £75.00 per month storage fee charged per order.
For items where unwrapping and assembly was not carried out in your home by our own delivery team please ensure the returned goods are placed in their original packaging. If you select our Room of Choice Delivery (White Glove) and you are unsure of any items, you must ask the Driver to leave the packaging with you upon delivery. Failure to retain packaging, will affect your ability to return any items. Until the collection has taken place or the item has been returned to us, you will be required to keep the item in the same condition as it was in when delivered to you (unless we have agreed general usage until an alternative arrives from us) We reserve the right to consider the condition of any item you return to us and make deductions to the refund paid to you on account of any use of the item or any damage to the product.

* Occasionally we send single small items by courier and remote areas by wooden pallet.
If this is your delivery method your goods will not be unwrapped for you.
** If you require an express delivery, live off-shore or in a remote area we may send your goods by our chosen method of alternative delivery.
