Delivery and Returns UK

At Nicky Cornell we have 3 options for delivery. Our deliveries made by our own team are made Tuesday-Friday at reasonable times. 


We offer a free of charge collection service which will (in most cases) half your delivery lead time. You will be collecting from our warehouse and showroom in Hertfordshire. 

*all collections must be arranged prior, driving license/passport will be required if the order has been pre paid. 

One man delivery service £9.99 

We will deliver your goods to just inside your front door and on ground floor only, no packaging will be taken away. This service is only recommended for smaller items. 

Two man white glove £34.99 

Items will be taken to your room of choice, assembled by our professional delivery team and all packaging will be taken away and disposed of. Please ensure you check access with our sales team prior to delivery and notify them of any tight turns, low ceilings, parking restrictions etc which may affect your delivery.  

It is down to the customer to ensure the property has adequate access and the goods will fit and if not you will incur a restocking fee. Nicky Cornell do not install any electrical items or hang any mirrors.  

From time to time, we may use an external courier to get your goods delivered to you faster.  This includes a wooden pallet service however we will notify you beforehand if this is the case. 

Delivery options Scotland/Ireland  

All deliveries made to these locations are quoted on an individual basis, please contact our sales team for further information. Due to brexit there are a limited number of delivery companies available. Unfortunately we cannot arrange any returns from outside the UK, this will be down to the customer.

Nicky Cornell’s Return Policy 

We understand that you may wish to return your order. If this is the case please notify our sales team within 14 days of delivery and keep all packaging. We will either arrange a collection or you are able to do this yourself.   

*Please note that for larger items you may incur a restocking fee   Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on any clearance items, mattresses or items that have been bespokely altered for you. Trade orders are unable to be returned/cancelled. *Please be aware that if you have signed the damage disclaimer we are unable to accept your return

We employ our own drivers who drive our own vans. 
Most companies deliver using 3rd party furniture couriers ** 

We take all packaging away under our 2 Man delivery Service *
Almost all furniture couriers will charge extra for this service 

Our drivers aren’t in a rush.
Almost all furniture couriers will have double the daily workload 

We deliver at reasonable times.
Some furniture couriers will start their deliveries at 6am 

Our delivery guys take more care of our goods.
Some couriers can be rough with their handling of fragile furniture 

We fit handles on all furniture especially mirrored.
Most furniture couriers will not do this 

We assemble almost everything that needs assembling.
Most furniture couriers will not do this 

Our drivers are always courteous.
At Nicky Cornell we are passionate about customer service

* Occasionally we send single small items by courier and remote areas by wooden pallet.
If this is your delivery method your goods will not be unwrapped for you.

** If you require an express delivery, live off-shore or in a remote area we may send your goods by our chosen method of alternative delivery.
